Time
to say Good Bye to Kashmir
It is
a losing battle that the Indian Government is fighting in Kashmir.
When
stones are thrown at the funeral procession of a Kashmiri soldier killed by
Kashmiri militants, isn’t it time to say Good Bye?
When
school girls get involved in stone throwing, isn’t it time to say Good Bye?
When
there are no voters at election booths, isn’t it time to say Good Bye?
When a
Kashmiri militant swears by ISIS and wants a Caliphate, isn’t it time to say
Good Bye?
When
locals help in infiltration of cross border terrorists, isn’t it time to say
Good Bye?
When
banks are looted and policemen killed in Kashmir with impunity, isn’t it time
to say Good Bye?
When
religion rules the roost with the so called Kashmiriyat giving way to
persecution of Kashmiri Pandits, isn’t it time to say Good Bye?
When
the cost of maintaining an army in Kashmir becomes humungous at the expense of
poverty alleviation in the country, isn’t it time to say Good Bye?
When
the vast population in southern parts of the country do not even know where
Kashmir is, isn’t it time to say Good Bye.
When
people in Ladakh and Jammu believe in a secular state isn’t it time to say Good
Bye to Kashmir valley?
Let’s trifurcate
J&K, get out of the valley and let the people there do whatever they want
under a Caliphate or under Pakistan. Let’s draw a new international border and
save our pluralistic state.
